Chili Lime Salmon
Salmon seasoned with a chili lime seasoning blend. Perfect with side of rice and veggies, for burrrito bowls, and lots more.
Servings: 4 servings
- 2 lb salmon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tbsp onion powder
- ½ tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- ¼-½ tsp cayenne pepper optional for extra spice
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 large lime
Place large pan over medium heat and add oil.
Mix all spices including salt and zest of lime. Cut lime in half and squeeze one half of lime juice over salmon. Season salmon, both sides, with spice and lime zest mixture and press onto salmon to get a good layer on.
Place seasoned salmon skin side down in pan and cook for 3 minutes, longer time if salmon is thick. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until preferred doneness. Squeeze the rest of the lime juice onto salmon before serving.
Serve with desired sides such as rice and veggies.
