Ingredients

Chipotle Adobo

  • 1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp chipotle chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Chicken Tinga

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 2 tbsp chipotle adobo
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  • Mix everything together until thoroughly combined.

Chicken Tinga

  • Crock pot: Place everything in the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours. Shred chicken.
    Instant pot: Place everything in the instant pot and cook on high pressure for 12 minutes. Release pressure manually and shred chicken.
